On Tuesday 6 July 2010 our members, their partners and friends gathered for lunch and a celebration of another year of fishing together. It was cold outside, but the atmosphere inside was both congenial and convivial with much chat and laughter coming from the tables. The delights of the carvery with a hearty winter soup for starters followed by a tasty roast and the most delicious assortment of desserts were enjoyed by all. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other a little bit more and to congratulate those who were most successful in their catches during the year. Our champion fisherwoman:
